Who we are
Tee Time Hunter (“we”) operates teetimehunter.com and the Tee Time Hunter iOS/Android apps. Contact: support@teetimehunter.com.
What we collect
- Account info — email and (when provided) name/avatar from Google sign-in, Apple Sign-In (including Hide My Email private-relay addresses), or email one-time codes.
- Saved items — tee times you save, favorite courses, and alerts you create (course, date or weekdays, time window, party size, optional weather preference).
- Location (optional) — when you choose “use my location,” the app uses your device location to find nearby courses. You can search by ZIP code instead; we do not continuously track location in the background.
- Push notification tokens — if you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver tee-time alerts and (if enabled) favorites digests.
- Outbound clicks — when you tap “Book,” we log the destination platform and URL (and your account id if signed in) for affiliate attribution and product analytics.
- Optional booking logins — if you save a course-membership login, the username and password are stored AES-256-GCM encrypted and used only to fetch tee sheets you request. They are never shared or shown back, and you can delete them anytime in the app or on the website.
- Payments — web Pro subscriptions are handled by Stripe; in-app Pro subscriptions on iOS/Android are handled by Apple/Google via RevenueCat. We store plan status and provider subscription/customer identifiers; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Device biometrics (on-device only) — if you enable Face ID / Touch ID app lock, authentication stays on your device. We do not receive biometric data.
- Diagnostics (optional) — if crash reporting is enabled for a build, we may receive crash logs and coarse device metadata via our error-reporting provider to fix bugs.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal data, run third-party advertising trackers, or send marketing email. Alert emails and pushes go only for accounts and devices you control.
Course availability data
Tee-time availability shown in search results is aggregated from third-party booking platforms and public course websites; it is about courses, not about you.
Service providers
We rely on processors needed to run the service, including: Neon (database), Resend (email), Stripe (web payments), Apple and Google (sign-in and app-store billing), RevenueCat (in-app subscription status), Expo (push delivery), Google Places / maps-related lookups for course discovery, Outscraper (optional course discovery gap-fill), Open-Meteo (weather), and optionally Sentry (crash reporting). Each receives only what it needs to provide that service.
Retention & deletion
Old telemetry and click logs are pruned automatically. You can delete your account and all associated data (saved times, alerts, favorites, encrypted logins, sessions, push tokens) in the app under Account → Delete account, or on the website at teetimehunter.com/account. You may also email support@teetimehunter.com.
Deleting your Tee Time Hunter account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel that in your device Settings → Subscriptions. Web (Stripe) subscriptions are canceled when you delete via our systems when possible.
Children
Tee Time Hunter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated policy. Questions: support@teetimehunter.com.
